I am convinced that your Aragorn exists independently of you. There are people, who claim to be Viggo-Fans, but in reality they are Aragorn fans. They fall in love with this character and identify themselves with him, because the fantasy behind is important for them. Maybe these people, who you thought were your fans can’t stand you in our movie.

DC has a good point imho.....not that I think that way, but I know a few who do!

I was *shocked* to see what the guy that played Aragorn really looked like. At least momentarily. Then I realized "what lurked beneath" ;-).

he certainly didn't look too much like Aragorn with that spiky blond hair in the Fellowship EE extras! It fascinates me the way he is always changing his look, but at the same time I think I could have lived with it if he had stuck to TTT premiere look with the "Hidalgo hair" and "that" suit!!!!!

I liked those Cannes long dark brown hair pics.

Chameleon is such a good word to describe the man.

Chameleon is a perfect description! Yes, the early Cannes pics were nice (and hundreds of others too *lol*) and he was so sweet there.......so shy and overwhelmed by it all, a far cry from the confident premiere appearances this year. It seems that it's not just his exterior that he manages to blend ;-)

I wonder if some of his confidence is having the security blanket of DC somewhere close by? They seem to be siamese twins!

hehehe.....I think it probably helps to have David there. It's obvious that they have a lot of fun and it must make it easier to do if it's enjoyable, but I think the confidence building has been a gradual thing. (Didn't he say in an interview that he's learned to handle these things, even though he still didn't enjoy them? - I bet you have the quote stored away somewhere!) His confidence grew noticably in each year of LOTR promotion and he had to do most of the Hidalgo promotion alone, which again was more confident than the LOTR appearances. By the time he does Alatriste, it should be a piece of cake for him *g*

I think he'll probably always have a little discomfort with live interviews because of the control factor.

And dayum does that sound familiar but I can't seem to put my finger right on it...

I think it was in one (or more) of the HoV Promomtion video clips that he said it......can't remember which one though!

I hope at least that he will retain the ear tugging, however cool he gets with interviews. It's so endearing!
