Gas prices are ridiculous here in California. Recently they've been about the $3.43 quoted, but in the past I've paid as much as $3.599 a gallon. It makes it cheaper to pay the 25 cents a day fine at the library than make a special trip to take back a book even though the library is only 3 miles away.
