Not your average photo gallery
Apr. 29th, 2007 12:16 pmThanks to digital cameras, there is an abundance of photographs on the Internet. Some are astounding; others leave room for improvement. But I recently discovered a photo gallery that is really different. Flashes of Hope features pictures taken by professional photographers. It isn’t the photographic quality that sets this site apart. It’s the subjects of the photos. They are children battling life-threatening illnesses. These are some of the most touching photographs I’ve ever seen. But don’t take my word for it – see for yourself. I also encourage you to make a donation. It will allow the project to continue. The families of the children are given a portfolio of photographs. So your support would really mean something to the children and their families.

Thank you for pointing out their web site, I have it bookmarked :)
