Hollywood Today reports Johnny Depp has earned $78 million so far for the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise with even more on the horizon with the release of At World's End in May, making him the highest-paid actor in history.

I saw the Don Quixote doc a while back on IFC, I think it was. I'd love to see it made. But didn't the man playing him pass away? I know he got hella sick on the set. What a trial it was to watch one thing after another go wrong with that film. A real shame. Gilliam's a divo goofball, but I think he took it like a man, all considered.
Another case of not enough money in Europe to make the kinds of films American producers and directors are used to. And Gilliam is infamous for going over budget. Its the reason he doesn't get asked to direct as much as I'd like to see.
