I have been to Grand Canyon several times. Yeah I would walk on this thing.....but only after it had been open and in use for at least 3 years. Long enough for the engineers to be sure their calculations were correct! Bet it would be a wonderful view! Have you visited Grand Canyon? I also went to Canyonlands Natl Park. Even more wild than the Grand Canyon.
I'm just thankful it wasn't open when we were there in October, because Heather would have been bouncing out quite happily on it, whilst I would be going even more grey and having kittens on terra firma.
I'm afraid of heights but looking at the picture I thought I could do it b/c it has those glass walls all around. Then I read the description and, of all things, the glass floor is one I could not do. If there was no glass floor I MIGHT have been able to withstand it but the glass floor would be too much for me!
If it were not for the glass floor I could probably step out onto it if I could hold on to the wall. I would probably get scared and close my eyes in order to get back. But with that glass floor there is just no way. The exception would be if my kid was out there and I had to get them back. Reason tells me I will not fall, but it would just look so scary anyway to me.
Oh God, I would just die! I was never afraid of heights until I had my children. Now, I get wobbly knee'ed on ladders! Very strange. I've been to the GC, so amazing!
No way I'd go out there! I hate bridges period, and to me this is a bridge. Glass bottom makes it even worse. If I HAD to go out on it, I would have to do it on my hands and knees, or even better, on my belly like a snake. Someone else can tell me what it's like. I don't think you will ever find me sky-diving either. I like terra firma a little too much.
No f'ing way!!! I'm a complete wuss and heights make me nervous..although I have been to the top of the Empire State building...just can't look straight down!
Line for the Empire State was too long when we were there - next time I'm in NYC I plan to go up (and probably will stay as far away from the edge as possible!)
I'd do it in a New York minute! Mark would too; it's one of the first things he saw when he first came to America. He even has a huge portrait of it in his office. But I would NEVER skydive. I'm not afraid of heights, just falling from them. I've been hang-gliding several times, and para-sailed once. As long as there's something to hold onto, I'm fine. Probably doesn't make sense, but there you go.

I wonder if I could crawl around the 'loop'?
