Synchronize Firefox

Firefox is a great Web browser. It boasts many features not found in other programs. And you can add more. There are a lot of great add-ons for Firefox, but I found one that trumps them all. It is Google Browser Sync. This tool allows you to synchronize your Firefox settings between computers. You can even do cool things like open a page you were viewing at work when you get home! Privacy settings protect the data you have stored in Firefox. Read the privacy description before installing the add-on. You'll need a Google account to use Google Browser Sync. But you can sign up directly from the program page. And it's free!

Yay, I'm glad to hear that. I haven't had time to try it yet, but it's on my list. ^^

My computer abilities are sad. I am hoping you can help with something. I have a cute Xmas thing that has been stored on my puter forever. I would love to share it with everyone....it is cute and funny.....but do not know how. It's program name is dancingman.exe. I know I can put it as an email attachment....but that is all I know. Is there another way to share this thing? Thanks. (I also have one about how Monday sucks!)

You could probably upload it to a place like sendspace.com... but I lot of folks are hesitant about downloading anything that's an exe for fear that it may have a virus in it.

Thanks. I guess no one would want to risk opening it. Too bad. My son has my puter set to scan for viruses and has found none. Ah well, I guess I will just leave it in my dusty files only to be dusted off once in a while. I did not know exe was a virus haven. (That should tell you how little I know about puters.)

A lot of sites won't even let you send a exe sort of file as an attachment for fear of what could be in there!

Yikes! I did not know that. Glad I asked. Thanks for all the info.
