moral of the story: don't dry your paper in the oven

Scanner in the other room just had a fire engine dispatched for a kitchen fire. Apparently from the deluge this morning, folks decided to dry their newspaper in the oven, and most likely forgot about it. ACK!

I think I would have sprung the $1 or whatever to buy a new paper, if it was important to me at all. I read the paper online - so far, never soggy!

omg, thats awful! Seems kind of silly, but I guess it would be easy enough to do, only I dont think I would try the oven! ugh! Just hope they didnt have alot of damage!!!
