I pre-ordered and will pick it up at 12:01 am on the 21st. By the opening of the regular bookstores at 10am, I will have read half the book. By the time my mail gets her (around 4pm) I might even be done! I read fast the first time. Then on Sunday I will start reading it slowly the second time. Ok, Ok, I know I am nuts, quit tut tutting out there!!!

I pre-ordered, but I wanted super saver shipping, so I may not get it on Saturday. I figured I could wait a few extra days to save a couple of bucks, and Amazon is almost always cheaper than the stores.

Hubby is going to go to the library at opening on Saturday on the off chance he could get a copy. Otherwise, he'll have to wait until I am done.

When I worked in an office, I would listen to to audio books. Depending on length, 2-4 a week. Loved it. Now I move around too much during the day to be able to concentrate on what I would hear. I don't even spend enough time in a car to listen there. Oh well.

I'm in the pre-ordered from Amazon at half price but didn't want to apy postage camp...so may not get it till a couple of days after launch, then its jsut making sure I get started reading before Tony commandeers it.

I did data entry for years. You only need your eyes to see and fingers to type so listening to anything did not interfere with getting the job done. I was at the library 3-4 times a week to get more books on tape. It had hundreds of titles on tape. I miss that. I find that now, at home, there are too many interruptions and I cannot enjoy the book. If I curl up with a 'real' book, then everyone leaves me alone. Go figure.
