I have learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances. Martha Washington
It's not uncommon to see people who have everything to be thankful for in a mope, while people who have relatively little feel good about their lives. Or some people who can withstand profound heartbreak and others that fall apart at the slightest disappointment...
Sure is but I've seen people that somehow manage to keep a pretty good attitude in some pretty nasty circumstances. Amazing. I get a teen in a bad mood and it rubs off on me!
hmmm...hard to say. I'd say I'm a skeptical optimist. I want to believe in the best possible outcomes. I hate dwelling on the negative, and I can't stand whining (some complaining is perfectly natural, of course).
But I'm not inclined to trust people/things/ideas until I can test them out first.
