I knew this was SciFi, which I tend to take or leave, so I 'queued' it, and wish, even just finishing the first show, this was more than one season!

This is Nathan Fillion from Firefly, which was a one season wonder that was on USA network back in *goes to IMDb* 2002. The show apparently has quite a following considering it was only on for one season.

Oh, ok. I have heard of Firefly, but never watched it. And Serenity is a movie based on the TV series? I see that IMDB has an 8+ rating for it. Hmmm. I'll have to watch it (the movie) to see why it's so popular.

I'm in the process of collecting all 11 seasons of the X-Files, my favorite sci-fi series of all time. I was truly obsessed with that show.

I've never watched a complete X-Files episode, but I have seen bits and pieces of the show. Might have to throw that one into the queue too.

It's so nice watching things this way. No commercials, watching when you want.

In certain shots, he is almost reminiscent of a Viggo/young Sean Bean hybrid. More the points in his favor!

Mel *points up* introduced me to Nathan on VFB, and then Aflon jumped on the bandwagon. Nice piece of eye (and ear - if there's such a thing) candy (I've fallen in love with his voice. :) )

Ahh....Mal Reynolds.... I jumped on the Firefly bus a little late...didn't watch when it was on Fox, I think...then saw an article in Premire magazine about the Serenity movie...and actually noticed that Alan Tudyk was in it (don't ask me why I like him!).... THEN, the Sci-Fi channel reran the series, so I caught it then -- and wondered what in the hell I was thinking and why didn't I watch the show initially!!!!

Went to see Serenity the first weekend it was out (cried when Wash died!)... okay, I digress!!! Caught the DVD series of Firefly on sale for like less than $20, and of course bought the DVD of Serenity the day it was released...

Nathan Fillon is showing up everywhere these days....on Lost....now he's got some new show airing soon...which looks pretty cool..

Don't be so sure about our dear Aflon. I have witnessed her drooling over Sharpe and occasionally even Boromir a time or two. :)
